A Droid that no longer does

Yesterday I got a Motorola Droid that was dropped into a lake for a few minutes by one of my fathers co-workers. I diagnosed the symptoms it was having as a water damaged battery, as I have had success with that easy fix before, but it was on when it went into the lake, so it could be something more. I already ordered a battery for it from the interweb, and it shows the plugged in light on the side of the phone. The phone also had its 16gb micro sdhc in place, which works fine. If I cannot make the whole phone work I may use the micro sdhc as an ssd in my soon to arrive netbook. In all the phone is very nice, and if I could find one for AT&T that was not $300 I would certainly purchase it.

Except for not working, the phone seems to be in excelent condition.

Mine looks like this except it has fingerprint smudges on the screen.
