I have Windows Vista Ultimate. Should I upgrade to Windows 7? Note that I do not have a removable HD.

Yes! Windows 7 offers improved performance first (and most importantly) of all, and it has a bunch other neat things, like the cool new taskbar.

I don’t know if Notre Dame does this, but at UofI, if you’re in the college of engineering or taking a class in it, you get two free keys for Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate.
